Whew....Way too many photos. Should blog more often.

David is building a great fort in the backyard.
Initially, it was going to be a small and simple project.
The kids have had so much fun helping him and soon it will
be completed.  We're having to put screens over all the
windows because of those Texas mosquitoes.

Dante turned five and got a skateboard.  We have
a friend whose married with 3 little girls but enjoys
taking Dante to the skateboard park and reliving
his earlier glory days.

Uncle Wade, Aunt Claudia and Emma came to visit.  Unfortunately,
the only photos we really took were at Dante's soccer game.
Izze wouldn't leave Uncle Wade's side...And our boy
was busy scoring like he was meant to play soccer.
We love watching him play.  We've always been somewhat
anti-trophy people but we were so proud of him when his
coach doted on him at his soccer party.  And yes, the trophy
was the highlight of his life for about a day.

Typical day in the Torres household...
It can be a little hard to see in black and white, but
yes, they are covered in mud.  I told them that
people pay lots of money for such mud baths.

Izze turning four.  Highlight of her day was her pink cake and her
Lelli Kelli pink sparkly mary jane shoes that her
Aunt Claudia just knew she would love.
They are her favorite.
Nani, you would be proud of these shoes.

In our family, it is a week of celebrations...First Izze, then
me, then Dante.  The brilliance of always having the
two kids celebrate their birthdays together
was unknown until this year, when we celebrated them on
their respective days.  Celebration station.  But having their
own day was important if not a little awkward for Izze.
She really was confused but eventually embraced it all.
Well, we love everyone.  Life in the Torres household is
great.  In the vein of Goldilocks, it's not too busy,
not too boring, it's just right.  Much love, am
