Daisy and the Dog

OK - This is the funniest story.  My brothers, Patrick (Pete) and Kevin came to AZ with some of their friends for Spring Break.  Pete, of course travels with his ENORMOUS bear of a dog.  Seriously, the most massive lab on the planet.  Anyways, Daisy was in love with Champ.  He is the BEST dog ever and if I could've stolen him, I would have.  This picture shows Daisy eating her apple.  This is where she ate ALL of her meals.  Right in front of Champ.  He was so cute and patient.  Stood there like this through every meal.  Not once did he lick her, jump on her, or even sneak the food from her.  He just stood in waiting.  Well, this was her third apple in front of him this day, and they were like this for about 5 minutes, so I grabbed the camera and snapped this shot from inside, so I wouldn't disturb them.....

I went outside and Daisy posed for me, but the ever vigilant Champ would not take his eyes off the apple.

Well, Daisy walked off and Champ followed her.  she soon got bored with her apple and so she set it down inside her "car".  This I can only assume was so he wouldn't get it.  Well, the very second she set it down and turned her back, Champ pounced and grabbed the apple....

He went and sat down to eat it.  So, Daisy turns around and sees what has happened, so she walks over, sits down, and just sits there and watches him eat it!  I kid you not, this was not staged.  I was laughing my butt off and snapping away...

She just sat there and watched until the entire apple was gone.  Poor Champ, he had to watch her eat everything from apples to chicken nuggets!  That was serious torture I am sure, but he still did not try and steal ANYTHING.  she did share every now and then.  Once we found her sitting in front of him eating her p, b & j.  She would take a bite, then stick her little hand out and give him a bite, then take a bite etc.  Gross, I know, but he is the BEST dog.  I just LOVED having him here and wish all dogs were just like him.  My kids loved on him and had the best time pretending we had a dog for the week.

Here are a few photos of Asher's 2nd birthday. He had fun - $10 Snoopy golf clubs is all my kid needs to have a great birthday, I love it. The Diego pinata was a bit creepy. Asher had reservations about beating his best friend with a bat (or rolling pin, in this case). As you can see, Juel had no qualms about it. Love ya'll.
